It was a slow start but things are getting done. We've been getting up later and having much less time before morning chores, which I like and don't like but I'll get used to it soon enough. It's in preparation to start a job in town. I haven't actually gotten it yet but I will :)
6 eggs this morning, 4 brown 2 white. Trying to figure out who's laying what is making me crazy but I'm so very thankful for the eggs regardless who lays them or what color they are.
Todays menu ... Cold cereal with sliced banana for breakfast. Large salad of 3 lettuces, red cabbage, carrots, radishes, cheese and dressing with crackers for lunch. Smoked sausage and potatoes for supper. Chocolate cake and hot tea for snack.
There are leaves everywhere :) I so love the Fall. I love seeing them, like dancing jewels, dangling from the trees, I love watching them fall and twirl and spin to the ground, I love crunching thru them on my way to the garden or the henhouse. How very lucky we are to experience such things.

The smells of fall is what brings me so much joy. I don't think I could live where there wasn't a changing of seasons.

I always enjoy your blog and photos. I had to tell you that I have the exact same Aum bells hanging on my front porch. :)
We are indeed lucky to experience all of this. The smell from the ground in Autumn somehow makes me feel very connected to the earth. A sense of peace and oneness. You're bells are wonderful. I just love that beautiful dog of yours. Good luck getting the job.
