Voting
Whether you vote or not, whether you vote with me or against me, I'll still respect you in the morning. But, let me just say that, for those who believe our votes won't matter (the polls are rigged, tampered with, disregarded or manipulated, the end result was determined before voting began ......) You may be right but if that's the case at least "they" will see where we stand and that we stand and if it gives even one person pause for thought, then we have made a change.

Amen. I live near one of the West Virginia towns where there are problems with the early voting machines. But vote we must--or keep our mouths shut and not complain about the results.
I always feel like we must do as much as we can, and make the best of whatever happens.
I can't help but think the president is chosen, not elected. In fact I think that was quite well demonstrated in the past two elections. However, it's like you said, it is in the very least, a way way we can speak up. The way I figure, exercising our right to vote may prevent the possibly of one day having that right taken away from us as so many others have been. Besides, speaking as a woman voter, my sisters fought long and hard, were jailed and beaten in order to attain this "right", so who am I to throw it to the wind?
