Wild Moon Cottage is a small working homestead in the pristine Ozark Mountains. We have dairy goats, poultry, organic herb and vegetable gardens, a start of a tiny fruit orchard, several black walnut trees, wild berries and fields of wildcrafting goodness. We raise our own milk, our own eggs, much of our own medicine and food. I do laundry by hand, make my own vinegar, candles, soap, bread, cheese ........ For a living I am an artist and herbalist. My goal for myself and our homestead is to be as self sufficient and self sustaining as possible.

Fridge Fortune Teller

I can't explain or describe the things as well as Earth Heart did but here it is, dust and all :)

I don't have to much on it, I never have. It bothers me a bit to have it to crowded.
I used to keep Niks artwork too, I miss that :)

The Fridge side.

The photo is Nik at about 4 years old. I'm no photographer but I do love black & white film, it seems to capture the true essence of a thing. Pure and simple.

The 3 cats are Luna, Pyewacket and Firebolt but I've never finished painting them.

The other things are just magnets i like.

The freezer side.

The Stonehenge in the top left was given to me by my best friend and soulsister, Karen. She crossed over several years ago leaving me to journey alone.

The puffy quarter moon was a gift and handmade by my sister Becca.

The Tiger on the lower freezer is from Turpentine Creek, big cat rescue.

The mirrors are experiments and seem to be working :) little round mirrors glued onto simple heavy magnets. I painted some of them but it's hard to see in the photo.

The other things, Green Man, cats, sun ... are just things I fancy :)

The top of the fridge, dust and all *~*

~*~

An Aztec calendar, bottles and jars of resins, powders and orris root, a lantern, candle snuffer, mead bowl, a cool old house penny bank which you can't see :)

~*~

And that's my fridge. If it reveals much about me I supposed the main thing would be that i don't dust *o*

Now, let's see yours :)

What a wonderful meme.... I will join you with this probably on Sundays post. I am so glad that you have your green eggs back. It has been a long time since I have had any. We have several more building projects t do, but hope that we can get a chicken coop built and some chickens for laying before I pass to the next life. I posted an award this mornng that I would like to offer to you. If anyone is deserving of it you certainly are sweetheart. Just come by and help yourself to it.
Have a blessed day and hugs to Nik.
