Merry Spring !!
It started raining Friday night and hasn't stopped since, it's quite chilly as well. The air reminds me of a small dog with sharp teeth nipping at your flesh. I don't mind tho, it's warm and cozy inside. A fire in the stove, a shawl on my shoulders, a hot cup in my hand and a big dog at my feet. I'm a pretty lucky woman to be sure.
Thankfully we don't have to get out but for chores. I have to check and trim goat feet but I do that in the tarp barn.
The big plan for the day is Sunday dinner. I don't know why but I've always loved that. Today I'm making a big beef and vegetable pot pie. For breakfast we're having eggs, sausage and potatoes with pepper cheese biscuits.
Other than eating I hope to get more work done on my websites and get some pictures taken for The Cottage Crow. I'm also going to be switching over to all loose teas on the herbal site, the bags get costly and it takes a lot of time to seal them up. It's also much better for the environment to use the muslin bags. I'm also thinking about reopening my etsy shops.
I've been trying to add tabs at the top of my blog to sort out some things. Recipes, homemade and such. I'm trying to find a way to make my blog 3 columns but haven't figured it out yet. Can't figure out how to add individual posts to the pages either. But it will work out.
The rain sounds so fine but it's making want to curl up in bed and daydream. More coffee! then get to work :)

Sounds like you will be very busy in the coming weeks. Spring is a time of renewal and growth -- for nature as well as for us people. Good luck with all of your endeavors and keep us posted on your progress.

How hard is it to trim goat hooves , did someone show you how or did you learn on your own?
I think we're getting two Nigerian Dwarf goats this weekend , if all goes well. I'm so excited , wanted goats for along time.
