Sunshine, Packing Boxes && BBQ Chicken

The day is absolutely stunning. Like a magical day in a fairytale. Bright beautiful sunshine and sea blue sky. It's a bit to quiet tho, not the good quiet but no birds sounds at all.

A neighbor brought me some more boxes this morning. I'm about out of the ones I had. It's good to be able to give every little thing a good dusting off. It's also good to be able to go through and actually see each little thing, to make sure I still want it or need it.

I had a wonderful tea sale yesterday and once the order is filled and done the extra money from it will go toward getting something done on the Blazer. There are also people coming today and tomorrow to see the cabin. Hopefully it will sell soon.

I am trying hard for the Wasola house. If we're meant to be there then it will work out. So far it's not seeming that it will go anywhere and I'm continuing to look regardless. I looked into the Wasola house awhile back and made an offer but never heard back from the agent. When I checked again the listing and whole site were gone. Then, out of the blue, the same house came up when I was looking in a different area. It's now listed on a different site for about half the price and with a new agent. I emailed her a few days ago but haven't heard back. Things will be as they must but we both would really, really love that place. It's a little stone cottage with a tiny stone barn on 3 acres.

I was going to be starting a new crock of vinegar but then the thought of hauling a giant crock of it around dawned on me so I'm going to wait. I think I have about a gallon and a half left for now anyway and I can buy white vinegar fro cleaning.

One of the first things we did was to take the large goat pen fencing down. So we've started taking the goats on leads to browse in the yard. I don't tie them because of dogs, I just stand and hold the lead for Thistle and Ivy just stays nearby. Thistle would to but I feel safer with the lead because of the several dogs now running loose back here.

Right now I have a chicken roasting in the oven for supper. The menu is BBQ chicken, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob, biscuits and spice tea. Rustic apple pie and hot tea this evening.
