Wild Moon Cottage is a small working homestead in the pristine Ozark Mountains. We have dairy goats, poultry, organic herb and vegetable gardens, a start of a tiny fruit orchard, several black walnut trees, wild berries and fields of wildcrafting goodness. We raise our own milk, our own eggs, much of our own medicine and food. I do laundry by hand, make my own vinegar, candles, soap, bread, cheese ........ For a living I am an artist and herbalist. My goal for myself and our homestead is to be as self sufficient and self sustaining as possible.

Here's the thing, I'm an Herbalist!

I've been an herbalist for many years. I try to make my living selling herbs and herbals. I'm posting this because lately I've noticed all sorts of people I know posting about buying their herbs and herbals from chains and stores and other strangers. If you're buying from a local herbalist or grower then absolutely keep on supporting their efforts. But if, like a lot of people seem to be doing, you're buying from big business, mass produced, etc. then please consider supporting your local herbalist instead :)

If you don't see what you're looking for just email me.
I might just have some in smaller amounts.

Juli, I have a order I was going to send off to Mountain Rose Herbs but if you have these I would rather purchase from you. Also am still interested in buying any roots, plants or seeds you have extra from your herb garden. I am going bigger this year in mine and taking a online herbal class so I can have better knowledge of the herbs and their uses. Here is what I am wanting to order (in powder form if possible as I put them in capsules):
Devils Claw

Thank you and I am so enjoying reading about your lovely home and all your projects!
