Wild Moon Cottage is a small working homestead in the pristine Ozark Mountains. We have dairy goats, poultry, organic herb and vegetable gardens, a start of a tiny fruit orchard, several black walnut trees, wild berries and fields of wildcrafting goodness. We raise our own milk, our own eggs, much of our own medicine and food. I do laundry by hand, make my own vinegar, candles, soap, bread, cheese ........ For a living I am an artist and herbalist. My goal for myself and our homestead is to be as self sufficient and self sustaining as possible.

Simply Being By Modest Means

I tried starting this a year or so ago using the tabs at the top of my blog to sort and organize information to make it easier for folk to find. I never mind reposting things on groups and such but I thought it would be much more sufficient to have them in a spot I could just point to and then people could see what's available and take what they need. But the tab system didn't work well at all for me, there are tab limits and only one page per tab .... So, I'm putting it all on an easy to search website.
SimplyBeingByModestMeans
or
https://sites.google.com/site/simplybeingozarks/home

I'll get a domain for it when I can afford it

It's nothing spectacular or new, there are plenty of similar sites and a person could just search for the information on the web but this is my life and passion, I love living it, doing it, sharing it and, just maybe, it will be helpful to someone.

I'll still have my beloved blog here but this way too, people can see the recipes and such without all my lunacy (some of it anyway) mixed in.

Thank you so much Juli for putting all that knowledge together! One click and we have much needed information.

Hi Juli, I thought I'd subscribed to your site a long time ago so I'd get updates as emails when you'd posted. But it apparently didn't take the first time. I love reading your blog with all the lunacy mixed in ;) But I'll go check out your website, too.

Most of the time Blogger won't let me comment, so here's hoping it works this time!
