Wonderful glass flourbin, a birthday present from Nik :)
It holds at least 15 pounds of flour.

Seed stash, that I stayed up all night a few nights ago going through and sorting. I used to keep them in a big seed tin but it was overflowing. The white packets in front are seeds I've saved myself or been given. Many heirlooms but not all. I keep a garden journel and take notes every year of what seeds did what. I have seeds from 1997 that still grew and produced this past summer. In one test 7 out of 8 corn seeds grew and produced while 3 out of 5 sunflowers grew but only one matured to seed.
I never throw out old seeds, if even one out of 10 grows and produces that is one more then you would have had you thrown them all out :)
A very blurry sunset.

Beautiful birthday presents. It's amazing how long some seeds stay viable. I tend to hang on to them for years as well. The colours in the sunset are wonderful, wow!
Your "very blurry sunset" is a gorgeous picture. Where was it taken?
Happy Birthday Juli:)
Juli, have you received your stocking yet?
