Wild Moon Cottage is a small working homestead in the pristine Ozark Mountains. We have dairy goats, poultry, organic herb and vegetable gardens, a start of a tiny fruit orchard, several black walnut trees, wild berries and fields of wildcrafting goodness. We raise our own milk, our own eggs, much of our own medicine and food. I do laundry by hand, make my own vinegar, candles, soap, bread, cheese ........ For a living I am an artist and herbalist. My goal for myself and our homestead is to be as self sufficient and self sustaining as possible.

Today is supposed to be bright, warm and wonderful ! I have a lot to do today and most of it is outside :) :) :)

Yesterday I finished one painting ( Wild Gaia ) and started another. I'm so very thankful to be painting again !! I have 3 more commissioned paintings to do and then 2 or 3 for the Washington gallery and since I haven't pained in a month or so I have room to store if I paint more :)

I posted on my herbal blog this morning about IBS and Crohn's Tea. A friend was asking and I thought other people might be interested as well.

Yesterday a strange and bummer thing happened. I've been having trouble trying to renew my domain name OzarkGypsyArt.com and had been emailing back and forth with customer service. They finally got it worked out yesterday and I went to renew it and it was gone. It had expired yesterday morning and a woman quickly bought it and will sell it back to me for around $70.00 *~* it only costs around 15.00 a year. Apparently there are people who do that for a living tho, wait till the domain expires and buy it quickly before the person can and then sell it back to the person for a lot more money believing that the person has no choice but to pay.

It's very bumming because I just had ordered new business cards with my art and my domain name. It's also very sad to think people would do that to other people but of course they often do and much worse too. But in the end, it's just a little thing.

Merry day all !

So sorry about your domain name. I know it the grand scheme it's a little thing, but it's still really aggravating. Wild Gaia is beautiful!

It boggles my mind some times the lengths that some people will go to feed their greed. I am so sorry that you lost your domain name especially after ordering the new business cards. We both know though that everyone's circle will meet eventually and debts will be paid.

I love your new painting!!
Love and Strength to you and Nik Dear Juli...

i think that painting is pretty powerful. beautiful colors, too.

that's so interesting about the whole domain situation...that people do that to make a living. i had no idea. it's really a shame. i'm hoping that somehow, some way things will work out so you can re-acquire it without having to pay all that money. the universe seems to work in your favor quite frequently. :-)
