Lemon Balm/ MelissaThere are so many patches and escapes that when I mow the air is scented with lemon :)
Herb garden.A lot of things are coming up under the leaves or just peaking thru.
I haven't seen the White Sage or Patchouli this year, I hope they make it !
My largest and beloved rosemary did not.
This was labeled "Garden Mint" I bought it because it was dying.
I have no idea what kind of mint it actually is, it does smell minty but not peppermint or spearmint at all.
Echinacea, coming up nicely but less plentiful.
Broadleaf Sage, which I recently traded duck eggs for.

Juli, I just loved all the pictures. You and Nic look so much alike. I had a Siamese cat years ago that I named Pyewacket. Your dogs are gorgeous. Wonderful to see all the animals.
everything looks so beautiful, Julie. Did you get a new camera? I loved the nubians. We used to have them and they were so sweet--but so hard to keep in the fence! I would like goats again, but we'd have to think about how to confine them so they'd be away from gardens and fruit trees.

I'm no goat expert but I used standard fencing (about 2x3 openings)and just added extra posts to help support them standing on and rubbing against. I hope it holds them safely.
OC, I imagine that both our Pyewackets were named after the same Pyewacket :)
i'm in such admiration your your gardens and ya know, i really like patchouli but had never thought of growing it myself.
enjoyed the photos! the lil kitty is too sweet.
