Wild Moon Cottage is a small working homestead in the pristine Ozark Mountains. We have dairy goats, poultry, organic herb and vegetable gardens, a start of a tiny fruit orchard, several black walnut trees, wild berries and fields of wildcrafting goodness. We raise our own milk, our own eggs, much of our own medicine and food. I do laundry by hand, make my own vinegar, candles, soap, bread, cheese ........ For a living I am an artist and herbalist. My goal for myself and our homestead is to be as self sufficient and self sustaining as possible.

God, Goddess, Great Spirit & The New Year

I had to dig out my BOS to find this but here it is. I have no idea who wrote it or even where I got it. I read it somewhere a long time ago and wrote in my book. I am one of those people who believes that it doesn't matter what path you walk or what name you use. In fact, I believe we walk what path we must and use what name we need. I believe that all paths to the light will meet there eventually.

I have come to call this "Little Miracles". May we all be blessed with many in the coming year.

Namaste Family

........................

The man whispered, "God, speak to me" and a meadowlark sang.
But, the man did not hear.

So the man yelled, "God, speak to me" and the thunder rolled across the sky.
But, the man did not listen.

The man looked around and said, "God let me see you." and a star shined brightly.
But the man did not notice.

And, the man shouted, "God show me a miracle." And, a life was born.
But, the man did not know.

So, the man cried out in despair, "Touch me God, and let me know you are here." Whereupon, God reached down and touched the man. But, the man brushed the butterfly from his shoulder and walked away disappointed.

So true - amazing how oblivious we can be to the answers around us! BTW, I want to tell you how pleased I am with the tea I purchased from you! There is nothing better than browsing seed catalogs whilst sipping some blessed tea!
