Wild Moon Cottage is a small working homestead in the pristine Ozark Mountains. We have dairy goats, poultry, organic herb and vegetable gardens, a start of a tiny fruit orchard, several black walnut trees, wild berries and fields of wildcrafting goodness. We raise our own milk, our own eggs, much of our own medicine and food. I do laundry by hand, make my own vinegar, candles, soap, bread, cheese ........ For a living I am an artist and herbalist. My goal for myself and our homestead is to be as self sufficient and self sustaining as possible.

 Matilda the crow maiden

The barn on the left & my workshop on the right. Hammock jig, planting table and a work table out front.

 Genteel & gentle Anya

Liam, one of my favorite rabbits. He and Lully were a gift from a friend.

The woodstove oven I traded for at the last gathering. I lughtly sanded and painted it with heat paint, it loos brand new on the outside. I'll post an after picture later.

 The sundial. It's pretty accurate.

This is the large bread slicer, the small one is below. I traded with one of the woodsmiths at the Ava farmers market. I have put both to very good use and love them! If you would like one yourself just ask at the market for Merl and tell him Juli sent you  :)
