I cannot imagine being more blessed than we are this Autumn ...

A carpet more intricate and beautiful than any ever woven.

The gardens are being put to bed. The herb garden is about ready, just waiting for one or two more little green houses. the one in the picture is the rosemary and I have another almost ready for the lavender (which shouldn't need it but does. and maybe one for the garden sage which seems to not be rooted as deep or have as much wick as it should by now.

I bought a half bushel of apples the other day. We used to get free apples from windfalls each year but the trees we used to get them from are still recovering from a severe ice storm a few years back. Apples are such wonderful things. I'm making apple butter and apple sauce to can and pie apples to freeze.

We also made apple heads to dry :)

I love leaves on the ground and tucking in the herbs for winter! Hmm, those raspberry scones looking yummy! Are those Amish spice cookies? I've got a recipe for spice, but always on the look-out for others!
Blessing to you and Nik.
Love the look of fall around your place. Your new vehicle looks perfect for you. Hope you enjoy it for a long time to come.
Those apples look wonderful , we've been enjoying the applesauce I made this year , it sure is delish. Love the carved apple heads , hope you show another pic once they've dried.
